Everybody Sing Along!
It was an honor to be a part of this amazing 5-day festival alongside so many gifted friends and amazing people whom Pete & Toshi touched and sang with in their lives…
This incredible, Seeger family-produced festival celebrated the lives of Pete & Toshi Seeger through music, dance, film, boat rides & photo exhibits from Ashokan, Poughkeepsie & Beacon NY to New York City. Artists who worked with Pete & Toshi Seeger came together to honor their friends & mentors…Joan was on for Friday with Roland Mousaa and the Hudson River Sloop Singers for the ‘local family’ memorial at the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie NY and for Sunday with Roland, David Amram & his daughter Amanda for the live simulcast performances @ Lincoln Center Out Of Doors, Damrosch Park Bandshell in NYC. In addition to their contribution below, the excitement of reuniting with friends Paul Winter, Eugene Friesen, Peter Yarrow & Holly Near, and making new friend Martha Redbone – made this signature evening one to long remember…
