DXF™ (Dance Xross Fitness™) is a grassroots, interval fitness program that builds community and promotes family fitness. Originally created by Bryant ‘Drew’ Andrews out of an arts-based nonprofit to serve communities, schools and families, DXF has developed into an innovative, sustainable program which successfully links community, fitness and leadership and is effective with all ages, ability levels and populations.
Joan’s class in particular focuses on form and a protective, body-smart attitude while being known for its dance-y, energetic style, occasional singing moment (!), extended closing stretch and body-mind-spirit emphasis. “Work hard, play hard, dance smart, re-center yourself,” she says. “And breathe!…”
